Picnics Sandwich Bar is a friendly and inviting business in Newington which serves delicious food at more than reasonable prices. I came here about a week ago with a mate whilst walking back home after a flat party. We were both pretty hungover and were looking for a something filling and tasty to settle our stomachs. Thankfully we found this place and tucked into some big and delicious paninis.
I went for cajun chicken with cheese, onion and lettuce which only cost about £2.80 and tasted really nice and moist. The bread in particular was obviously good quality and was great when toasted.
Picnics looks pretty dark from the outside, but once you get in it’s a great place to get a cheap, tasty lunch.
