Fountain Garden

Our pre-​salsa food search took me and my salsa friend, Hilary to Fountain Garden in Dorking last Wednesday
We were immediately made to feel at home on arrival by the friendly staff. They remained attentive without being obstrusive during our meal
For starter, Hilary had her first taste of salt and pepper deep fried soft shell crab. It was a good dish — the crunchy crab with moist flesh being given a good kick with deep fried chilli, garlic and spring onion on top
For main course, we shared lemon chicken and prawns in Peking sauce with egg fried rice. The lemon chicken sauce had the right balance of acidity and sweet. The prawns were butterflied and both plates were scraped clean. That was partly because they tasted good but the portion sizes also erred on the small side
We received orange for dessert when the bill arrived.

Never actually eaten in the restaurant itself but had many good takeaways.
