Love this place!
Cool old tudor building with an outdoor seating area.
Old pub feel in the front. A bit grungy. pool table.
Big surprise in the back though… a big event room with a stage for bands to play and there is another bar. Some fairly decent bands play here too!
Really cool happy friendly alternative crowd and friendly bar staff.

Recently done up. Not sure how that has gone down with people. I have never been a massive fan of this place it was in need of a big clean but the staff are great there. The back room is quite big and I am sure if thats your local then there are worse places but also many better on the circuit

the middle of the city centre on irongate. lots of pubs close by.
