As I’ve stated previously, I love TK Maxx. But although this one is the closest to my home, it is not my favourite one. Yes it has all the usual stuff you would expect (such as clothes, baking stuff, suit cases etc) but I find that the stock never seems to change. So unless I want a baking tin, I never come here just to browse. It’s a waste, because it could be so good.

This is on the prospect place retail park and is a very good size store. Its on two levels and has toys, homeware, kids & mens clothing upstairs and ladies clothes and accessories downstairs. You have to search around as its a bit of a jumble sale in my opinion but you can find some great bargains. The toys are especially worth a look in the new years sales as they go right down in price. No queues in this branch and the staff are always helpful

This store is situated on a retail park so there is ample parking. However, this may not be the case during the festive season. There is free parking for the first 2 hours.
I find the toys and homeware good value and are easy look through. However, you do need a lot of time and patients to look through all the rails of clothes to find a good bargain on the mens, women and children clothes section.
This store is situated over two floors and there is a lift at the back.

TK Maxx is located in the Dartford retail area near Asda Living. Parking is free for a few hours, but you must remember to get a ticket anyway. I don’t go to TK Maxx that often but when i do there always have a lot of clothes, i meant alot. You can find some good bargains if you have the time to spare looking for the isles. I have found a pair of Levi jeans upstairs in the mens department and they were a good price and luckily they were a good fit. I find that there home ware range is very good and you can find some nice cutlery sets which can cost over a hundred pounds in other department stores but Tk Maxx sells them for at least half the price. They also sell some nice plates and rugs.

I always think this particular branch is a little caustraphobic. Even so it is a great place to grab a bargain, a good rummage amongst the clothes rails is always in order. I recently found a lovely full length black coat which fitted like a dream. The household items are always a little out of the ordinary and there is always a large range of unusual things that are perfect to give as gifts. There is sometimes a long wait at the checkout as quite often some of the more delicate items have to be individually wrapped.

I like TK Maxx for the homewares bit in particular as they always have something different — some nice piece of glassware or a really nice range of picture frames. Reasonable prices too.
Not so keen on the clothing range, although I have had a couple of finds. I don’t hold with their phrase half the fun is in finding it — shopping is fine, but if things aren’t where they should be, I don’t get any fun in searching the whole clothing range for it!
This is a rather cramped TK Maxx store, but have found some particularly nice things here.
