Xananas may be part of the Student Union but it’s comparable with many high street gastro pubs, just cheaper! Which helps… although it doesn’t rely on the fact by serving good quality food in generous potions. The menu is varied, as you’d expect but I had the prawns — with plenty of garlic! — and the chicken fajitas — with plenty of everything! The atmosphere on a Tuesday evening was sociable, rather than packed, the staff helpful and friendly, and the whole experience was pretty pleasant, no complaints.

Good bistro selection nicely cooked fast service and very good price. Its student union run but better than many a pub outlet. Odd thing due to the nature of the ownership pay at bar when you order and the toilets are office block public area standard still far cleaner and fresher than some pubs.
All in all a surprise package for a decent meal before visiting the Warwick art centre. Great views over campus main road too!
