A fantastic asset to Coventry in a great location in the heart of Earlsdon! It’s very smart inside and it drawers a more stylish or well to do crowd, for want of a better phrase! The food is great, however, the breakfast is fantastic! It is their most popular and it’s a great way to spend a lazy morning. It is also open til very late on Friday and Saturday nights. The selection of drinks is varied and service is never an issue. The music is more of a house vibe, erring on the side of funky but that suits the crowd it tends to bring in which can sometimes be a bit too posey for my taste, but I’ve never had a bad night here ! Be warned though, it is small in here and can be absolutely rammed.

I’m giving this restaurant/bar 5 stars purely because there isn’t anything else quite like it in the City. Yes it’s expensive, but that’s the market they are aiming for, this isn’t aimed at the person that earns minimum wage… It’s aimed at professionals with plenty of disposable income. The bar is very nice, a good selection of drinks and the décor is good too. The food is high end, definitely not your Weatherspoons cheap burger and fries… They have proper chefs that use top quality ingredients. The management have done a good job at keeping this place going over the years, I think that keeping young attractive girls on staff all the time definitely helps! As I know most guys go purely for the eye candy…(Not me of course!) but most men are always saying how you never see an unattractive girl on staff… Not sure how legal that is to only hire attractive people, but they seem to have gotten away with it for the past decade so there we go… I guess it’s all part of the brand…

I have been there a few times now. Me and my boyfriend love this place, Food is great, atmosphere is cosy, modern and classy. One of the few nice restaurants we have found yet in Coventry.

I regularly go to Millsy’s. Good atmosphere, great food. They have a good value deal, 4−7pm £20 — two meals and a bottle of wine. Get’s a bit crowded on Friday and Saturday night. Fantastic place to have on your doorstep. Get’s my vote for quality, service and friendliness.

Reasonable priced and a good breakfast menu. Have not been for any other meals there. The ornage juice is always lovely and fresh. Venue is easily accessible. As with any other Earlsdon High Street venue though, parking is a nightmare so good luck. Service is good and friendly. Have only had one night out here and it was absolutely rammed and took ages to get served. The only thing I dislike about this venue is that is can be very Earlsdon elitist. Anyone from Coventry will know what I mean! But thats more of a problem with the attitudes of the locals than that of the venue.

I had a lovely meal at millsys refurbed upstairs restaurant and really enjoyed the lamb dish I had. The staff were very helpful on the telephone and also offered to email the menu to me at work. The service was good, food was nice and the restaurant was modern and inviting. I am taking my friends next week for my birthday meal as i was impressed.

This is my local wine bar/café/restaurant. It is a great place for meeting friends during the day for a good cup of coffee and great for people watching if you get a window seat on the main street. I ate upstairs in the recently refurbished restaurant for the first time. There were a few people in for a week night but got a table easily without waiting. The service was good, choice of food ok, nothing outstanding. We both ordered burger and chips. The burger was really good but I was expecting home made chips.(they used to serve them here) We were served coffee sitting at comfy seats, would have been better if we could have put our feet up. I did ask for a biscuit/something with the coffee. Although it is not usually served with anything the waiter brought a plate with several biscotti. I was hoping for a chocolate but managed to scoff them. Would I go back? Yes as it is very close and comfortable, good service and ok food, not too expensive.

This restaurant is above Millsy’s café bar and used to be called the gallery. We went here on the launch night last year(Oct time I think) and although it was extremely busy, we were very happy with the service and quality of the food. We both had pizza’s which were very tasty and enjoyable. Some of the menu choices were a little pricey though, so I would say this is probably a place for special occasions. There was a very good atmosphere and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and will definitely go back again. It’s on the road where we live, so even better– no taxis!

The previous review summed up this great place. They have great breakfasts with a free hot drink. They sell lots of nice pastry too. Hot chocolate is definately worth having with marshmellows all gooey. Mills’s gets very busy at weekends especially at night. It gets packed, probably because it is a great place to meet up with friends and chat. The only one niggle i have is that the service sometimes can be a little below par. But thats my only gripe.

This is a café/bar on Earlsdon Street. It is great for many reasons 1. Breakfast! Yummy food with free hot drink monday to friday. 2. Hot Chocolate! Have it with cream and marshmallows and a pastry, I meet up with friends and have this. 3. Lunch! Again the food is great, a bit pricy, but very tasty. 4. Evening! Great for evening drinks after work or at the weekend, be warned though, VERY busy later on fridays and Saturdays. So whatever you are looking for Millsy’s has it! There is also a restaurant upstairs but it gets busy so booking is essential.
