I love Zara, it’s one of my favourite places to shop but unfortunately the last few visits have really let me down. The store is split on two levels, downstairs is womenswear and upstairs is mens, children’s & more womenswear. When it’s busy downstairs can sometimes look very messy and it’s quite off putting. My main issue with this store is the staff. The last few occasions I have been in there the staff have been horribly rude. Manners cost absolutely nothing & when you are working with customers face to face you should at least be polite and the majority of staff here are not. It’s actually put me off a little so if I have been ordering online. I am pretty disappointed with this branch so from now on I will be sticking to online shopping with them.

I first found Zara in its home country — Spain — where it was pitched at about H&M level with super cheap and up to the minute fashion. Here in the UK its changed into a slightly upmarket position for some reason, perhaps because of H&M! Still it turns clothes around every two weeks form the floor but you can rely on certain things from the store — clothes in muted or basic colours in good cuts. They often keep in fashion with the details — the right buttons, neckline etc. Prices are still reasonable — you can pick up a t-shirt for a tenner, I particularly like their coats though and they are good for dressing for work. The store is nice — it has a good spot at the end/entrance of Cabot and a couple of floors. The store leads you round in a big circle making it comfortable for browsing and plenty of people on the till.
