This was one of the few places opened late on a Sunday night. The upstairs part is small with just a counter to place your order, it reminded me of Chinese food spots back in NY where you only order takeout. However this location has plenty of seating downstairs so you can sit and enjoy your food. I ordered the cheesy fries and a plain cheeseburger. The prices seemed a bit high but I must admit they really give you a lot of food. We got a giant bag of fries that could have been shared by a small family or just eaten by a greedy person on their own. The fries were good although I couldn’t really figure out the type of cheese that was used. My only issue with the fries was that they were a bit soggy. The burger was okay but not really great, there was a lot more bread than meat. Overall this place is a good option if you’re hungry late at night and craving greasy fries and exotic burgers.

AVOIDIFYOUVALUEYOURHEALTH Food took 90 minutes to arrive stone cold, 2 out of the 4 who ate it became very ill after eating it, the only common denominator was the crispy chicken stack, when I tried to raise this issue with the manager he was very aggressive and clearly cares not about customer service, claiming their ‘customers were not nice and often try it on for a refund’ The WORSTEXPERIENCEEVER

Me an the boi fancied a naughty Sunday snack and he’s been here before… Man, the burgers are niiiice! I had a standard bacon and cheese burger him having the crispy stack with fries to share. The prices are a little in the high side but you really do pay for quality, the bun’s for the burgers are kind of brioche like, sweeter than the standard uk bun it really made the whole thing lighter! They offer some cool random meats like lobster, bison, ostrich and wild boar! I don’t usually like burgers they can be to heavy and stodgy but i ate all of mine. For a different kinda treat it was really nice, i’d happily go again :)

Well, there’s only one thing worst than this and that would be someone taking you back !! Absolutely awful service and the food is even worst . The food might as well have been thrown over the counter at me. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else

Do not order food for delivery from here. Home delivered Yoyo is too good to be true. Food incorrect, time incorrect, staff offensive.

This is one of my favorite places for late night food in Bristol. The kangaroo burger is delicious. Great selection of eclectic burgers. Affordable. Cool interior.

«Let’s get a burger!» says some drunken friends after a night out, and after walking around, we spot this shiny red sign of Yo Yo Burger Express. You order from the menu above the counter, which has surprisingly interesting choices for a late night burger takeaway. They have burger patties made out of bison, wild boar, ostrich, kangaroo, springbok and crocodile! I don’t quite know anywhere else in Bristol that sells burgers with meat this varied. They have a shiny seating area downstairs which looks very space age, and for a burger takeaway that caters mostly to the tipsy party goers, it always is very clean. This is the best late night burger place you could come to; the burgers themselves are very succulent and aren’t grossly oily unlike some places. Really good and definitely worth trying!

Just a few doors down from Magic Roll on The Triangle it can be a real toss up about whether to go to one or the other, particularly among the meat eaters. I have to say, I tend to punt for Magic Roll as you really cannot beat their grilled Halloumi cheese(seriously, should I ever find myself on death row and that would be my last supper for sure) but I have been in YoYo Burger a few times after being overruled by the sheer amount of meat eaters in the group. YoYo Burger has a real obvious Japanese vibe about it. You imagine there to be a lot of these late night joints in Tokyo, which is a good thing. The sheer amount of burgers on offer is completely unrivalled elsewhere in the city and they do have token veggie options. The fries are real good though so I don’t mind having them instead, oh and there’s a more substantial seated area.

I strangely really love this place! Okay, so it isn’t upmarket or the kind of place you’d go out for a meal, but on a night out up Park Street this is such a great place to go for some good fast food in my opinion! The whole place is pretty different to your standard kebab shop, and more importantly is actually good quality unlike others! First, there’s a great range of burgers you can choose from — including kangaroo and crocodile to name a few of the far fetched ones! They also do veggie burgers, so cater for those non– meat eaters… Secondly, eating in is such a funny experience! Downstairs they have a kind of futuristic weird seating area — they have small little televisions integrated into the tables playing random programmes. I would add though that this isn’t the kind of place you’d go with the family, and it’s definitely more geared towards young people! But compared to other fast food kebab shops this one is great!

The first time i went into Yo Yo i felt like i was meeting MacDonald’s and Yo Sushi’s love child, that i think is where the problem lies, they just don’t mix that well. It should be some much easier to love Yo Yo burger, i mean, they have a managed to find a completely new take on a burger bar. The menu is jam packed with interesting meats for you to fill your burger with, it is not too greasy, reasonably priced and fast. So they tick all the boxes but this is somehow their downfall, the box ticking creates anti-synergies. I feel bad that i am not being nicer about Yo Yo and worry that i am taking out my anger with our box ticking bureaucratic society on a poor fast food restaurant on Bristol’s triangle. Interesting but nothing more.

On our way to a gig at the Academy, me and my friends thought we’d try out YoYo burger one of the newest burger joints to open in Bristol. Inside there’s Japaenese style benches and stools which seems a little out of place here and the last place you want to be social with strangers is when you’re about to chow down on a whopping big burger. Cheap, cheerful and with a good selection of vegetarian dishes I can’t fault Yoyo burger. It’s not fine dining, but it is what it is, and what it is, is tasty, hearty and authentic.

Quite a few of my friends had been to Yo-Yo burger before I decided to pop in a few weeks ago and a lot of them had been unimpressed with the experience. Being the sort of person who likes to make up his own mind about things, I decided to try it our for myself and I’m glad I did. I’m not exactly sure what their problem is. It’s a burger joint and they do plenty of burgers in dozens of different styles and an assortment of flavours. I simply had a classic cheese burger and it was a decent size, it wasn’t too greasy and it wasn’t too expensive. My fries were hot and crisp and my drink was cold, fizzy and refreshing. There wasn’t one single thing I could complain about really. The décor is Japanese in style with a large white oval shaped table in the middle. To be honest I was quite impressed with the interior and thought it looked like a lot of effort and imagination had gone into making something that little bit different.

This weird little place is the latest gourmet burger ‘experience’ to open up in Bristol. Sat on the triangle, I nipped in quickly on a week night on the way to a gig and it was almost empty, though an interesting experience none the less. They had all sorts of gourmet options available(ostrich, wild boar, etc) though I just went for a quick burger and fries, being in a rush. The food was okay, though the place itself was a bit surreal, trying to give you the full-on Japanese buger bar experience. I’ve never been but it seemed authentic enough with a large communal oval table split into individual booth-like eating areas, each of which has its own TV screen pumping out MTV. Despite my initial suspicions it’s not a chain either and I definitely intend on going back, though perhaps on my way back from a night out on the beers next time rather than on the way out.

The best burger I have eaten. They take easy junk food and turn it into one of the greatest things you will ever eat. Huge range of burgers, all cooked to quality and perfection, and you can even double the meat for £1. Friendly staff and interesting layout downstairs. Mini TV’s built into the tables so if you dont feel like talking you can drift away into the box. 5 stars for fantastic food at a fantastic price.

A million different burgers, all customisable, ranging from the ever classy aberdeen angus beef burger, to a triple cheese quarter pounder with peppers, mushrooms, guacamole, and onion relish. And if you felt like a real adventure, maybe you could give ostrich a go or give a buffalo burger a bash. Your heart is terrified of this location. The milkshakes are also wonderful, dispensing that extra thick almost — icecream sort that you nearly pass out from sucking it through a straw so hard. Its a really classy joint with a very funky american-esque seating downstairs, and the staff were incredibly friendly despite my total indecision when deciding what burger I wanted. I really recommend this place as the ultimate drunken snack, or simply a place to put on the pounds when no ones watching. Highly recommended.
