The Flour Pot Bakery

I had the chance to pop in to to the new Flour Pot Bakery branch that has opened in Jubilee Street today.
I’m not too familiar with the bakery but I have heard many good things about both the Elm Grove and the Sydney Street branch so this place has been on my list of places to go to.
Flour Pot bakery makes all of their bread fresh every day, and at this branch you can buy filled sandwiches to go as well as various loaves of bread.
I was a little peckish so opted for a baguette to share with Scott. We went for the spicy pulled pork. As it was nearing the end of the day there wasn’t a lot of pulled pork left so the lovely lady who served us offered us a discount or said we could have another filling in the baguette, so we had a bit of chicken put in there as well!
All I can say is that the baguette is up there amongst the best I have ever had! I find baguettes can be a bit hit and miss, but the bread was absolutely delicious, I enjoyed the bread equally as much as the filling!
I knew it was good because I didn’t hear a word from Scott the whole time we were eating.
Definitely worth checking out, they also have gluten free options!
