Food was good but the portions were a little small. We ordered take away and it literally took 2 hours for the food to arrive. We called after an hour and they said they didn’t even start cooking the food yet. And then they told us that we had to pay an extra £3 for delivery(because we were 5 miles away) but their website said delivery was free over £20. But according to Unilocal we are only 3 miles away! Will not eat here again.

My partner and I have been here quite often, as we live really close by and fell in love with their special Pad Thai when we first moved in. It’s a good ‘go to’ restaurant, you know what you are going to get and the quality is consistent, which I like. I don’t think it’s the best or most original Thai that you can find in Brighton, but at least the staff are friendly and the prices are okay. My favourite dish I have had there is still the ‘Thai Pad Thai’ that is served wrapped in omelette and comes with a giant, juicy king prawn on top. Their fish cakes to start with are also very good.

This is a winner, very good service and a menu full of all the normal dishes that you would find on the list at any thai restaurant, when we went there was a offer on for a 3 course set menu for 15 quid very good considering that the coffee was also included so really a 4 course menu. The surroundings were also very nice with the waiter coming over and lighting the candle on our table as we sat down so a great start to a excellent night of dinning. Also although we did not know and my wife had a couple of glasses of wine you can BYO so that again keeps the cost down when we visit next time. Give it a try, keeps with the standard of the Red Snapper just 100 yards away.

Thai Pad Thai is a new kid on the block and a welcome new addition to the varied eateries that cluster around the Seven Dials. A previous thai restaurant has been reaping the rewards of good karma(Thais are generally Buddhists right?) and been reincarnated another step close to nirvana. Renewed, refurbishsed and really rather good. When you eat in, the service is brisk and friendly. The red curry is very good and quite fiery. The thai pad thai has all the nutty, sticky goodness you’d expect. Save some pennies and take your own booze: the corkage is a quid. Cut costs even more by eating there during the week. There’s an all you can eat buffet for a tenner on a Monday. Get 50% of your bill on a Wednesday. And rejoice, they do takeaway and delivery too so you can have it at home, piping hot if you don’t want to put your glad rags on. It’s all priced very reasonably too. This is a recession busting, cheap and cheerful place to eat and I hope it’s here to stay.

This has taken over the premises of the former Little Buddha restaurant — with new owners and management. It’s still all very new — you can smell the fresh paint. But it’s still a good value Thai café-restaurant. The interior has had a welcome makeover, with a much fresher look, new flooring and much nicer furniture — bigger tables and much more comfortable chairs. The toilets are also much improved(and not before time). Overall, the ambience is pleasant and relaxed. The menu has rolled forward from the Little Buddha, so may change at some point soon, but the food we had this evening was an improvement on the Little Buddha — the soups was still very good, but my main course(a ginger and spring onion dish — I’m not good on Thai descriptions) seemed to have fresher flavours. The bill for two courses and corkage for two people(they do BYO but also have a licence) was a reasonable £22. Service was friendly and efficient, but to be fair it was fairly quiet as we went late. Take-away also available.
