Bav's shop is the best. Always a smile and nothing is too much trouble. Has been delivering during the COVID outbreak - absolute lifesavers for those that cant leave house. His stock is great, a good selection and has some organic produce too...perfect for Hannover ;)

As far as small newsagents go, I dig Guyatri news. It’s been a permanent fixture on Southover street as far back as I can remember and it’s always had friendly, helpful owners, which can’t be said about all! (not mentioning the one on Islingwood, home to the grumpiest lady in the world!).
They have an impressive magazine and news section for such a small shop they stock a lot, for instance I’ve just bought 5 different interior design magazines… They have most things there.
A wee selection of fresh veg too. The place doesn’t stock booze but Southover Wines is directly opposite.
It does give cash-​back in here which is so handy as there are no bleeding cashpoints in this area! Always drives me nuts…

This mouthful of a newsagents, is a great little shop, which as well as supplying its customers with news, and snacks, operates as a good, though small, convenience store, containing just about all the essentials you could possibly need.
