Gunns Flowers

Soo thrilled with the spray for my brothers funeral last Monday! Really stood out and the colours were perfect just what we wanted . Following placing them on our parents grave afterwards we visited there today and they were just as great as on the day so thank you very much we will certainly be recommending you .

I’d walked past Gunns almost every day on my way to work and had always admired their lovely selection of flowers and plants.
I got a Money plant and a Succulent in Zinc buckets last week at a really great price! The lady there was really friendly, gave me some plant advice and wrapped them up beautifully. I’ll definitely use them again the future for all my plant needs!

I live in Reading and needed a bouquet delivered urgently in Brighton. I remembered that on a visit to the town, I had bought flowers at Gunns. Rather than use a flower delivery service such as Interflora, I phoned them directly, explained my needs and preference for the type of flowers etc., paid by credit card and was delighted to receive a telephone call from the recipient within the hour, together with an instagram photo of a fantastic Autumn collection of flowers and foliage in russets and gold — excellent quality and value for money. I will certainly use them again and don’t hesitate to recommend them.

Gunns is quite simply a fabulous florist. I buy flowers from them every couple of weeks to brighten up my flat, and they never fail to create interesting, beautiful bouquets within my price range, which is usually less than a tenner. I also often buy irises from them and they always last well. The façade of the shop is incredible, painted dark green with vines and flowers twisting around the building and large yellow lettering announcing the shop’s presence– you really can’t miss them, the gorgeous and exotic looking flowers spill out on to the pavement and grab your attention as you wander by. Even if you’re not planning to buy, it is well worth a look, as many of the plants and flowers on offer are simply breathtaking. The vivid pinks and oranges of some of the petals make me feel as if I’ve been transported to a Hawaiian rain forest!

This florist is great for all occasions the staff are über friendly and remember you and what your interests are, they remembered a year later they my boyfriend is aways after sunflowers for my birthday. They have traditional options as well as modern varieties and Its so central as well that you can grab something on way out/​home.
They have potted plants as well as display pieces, you cant miss Gunns as they have a huge display outside n the street.

One of the reasons I know I’m kooky is I don’t go to Gunns to buy flowers.
I know they sell some of the most beautiful flowers on the South coast — huge bunches of lilies, sunflowers, roses, birds of paradise, dahlias and so on — but the thing I can’t resist is the clusters of fresh edibles. Earlier this summer, they sold pots of rosemary, mint and tomatoes. Now, they have clusters of the most divine looking red and green chillis. Even better, they look the perfect size pot for my wee patio garden.

This florist is so beautiful in an edgy way. The walls are painted dark green which creates such a perfect natural and yet dramatic backdrop for the stunning flowers. Gunns has the best selection of flowers in Brighton– they sell many types of flowers, each in an array of colours so that you can always find lovely combinations or stick within variations of one colour. They are also excellent at stocking exotic flowers and pot plants for more unusual bouquets and gifts. Their prices are really good– they always have some affordable cut flowers and plants as well as the more expensive flowers.
