Wow, what a selection of dishes we had for this Unilocal introduction to Boston Tea Party, there were almost too many things to try! The kedgeree was my personal favourite — well what was left of it after Taslima A got her hands on it ;). Top marks to Rickie J for thinking it up and to BTP for making such a good effort.

This was a really lovely event. Great opportunity to meet some new Unilocalers, whilst sampling some lovely food too. The great thing about this event is that usually you would only order one or two things off the menu, but the Unilocaly brunch meant we could try lots of different options, almost like a buffet style. Rickie was a great host making sure we were all fed and full, and the BTP staff were very accommodating despite having to cater to, I imagine, a larger group than normal. Very well organised and a great selection of food. Looking forward to the next event that I’ve already put my name down for!

Thoroughly enjoyed this event, bumping into new and familiar faces. As usual, the Rickster kept everything ticking along seamlessly with her super hosting prowess!
Great to get to sample a whole plethora of BTP’s food offerings, and although not strictly what I would call brunch (more brunch and lunch!), it was very tasty and everyone got ample amounts of different things to enjoy.
As I think this is great idea for an event (meeting up and eating stuff is always going to be popular in my opinion) I think we should do the Sunday Brunch theme every month (or at least pretty regularly) and go somewhere different to get to sample the Brunch offerings across Brum. … just an idea anyhow!!!

A FAB first event kicking off 2013 for Birmingham’s Unilocalers! We were welcomed by friendly face Rickie at the door, and were told what to expect for the Brunch event.
BTP catered for us all very well, and we sampled lots of tasty dishes from their menu which also includes vegetarian and vegan options. Rickie was an excellent host as always ensuring we were fed and watered. Dishes included scrambled eggs, poached eggs, mini beef burgers, crispy chicken (well it is Brunch after all!) Boston Beans with Bacon… the list goes on!
I will defintely be returning to BTP to have their white choc milkshake! As for monthly brunch events — count me in!

Brunch is a great idea, too early for lunch but feeling peckish then brunch is your thing. It was a good few hours to catch up with people I already knew and some new faces. By the end of brunch I felt like I had known them all for ages.
Boston Tea Party put on a good spread for us Unilocalers and the food kept coming; kedgeree (yum), scrambled egg, poached eggs (to perfection), pancakes… There was a good selection for veggies and when I checked out their menu it can cater for vegans too. Best of all for me was that they do soya milk and do not charge extra!
I am definitely a fan of brunch and Unilocal events. Look forward to signing up to the next one Rickie!

I really enjoyed this brunch. It’s always really lovely to meet new people and I have found with events like this you never quite know what to expect. Rickie is an excellent host. She made sure everyone was met just inside the door and made aware of the proceeds of the day. Generally, the group was a nice bunch and the food was good too. BTP really went all out to accommodate us with an off-​menu meal.
