Such a popular range when it first arrived in Belfast through the House of Frazer rails, but now even more popular with its own store launched less than a year ago. The problem wit h this is, every one will know where you got your outfit as they will also have the same one or maybe the same dress but in a different colour. The store itself is well presented with key pieces on mannequins and front windows. However, it does fell a little crushed with too many designs blurring your vision of what is actually wearable.

I was scouring the shops today to find a nice dress for my impending Birthday and having almost given up all hope I remembered that Belfast now has it’s very own Lipsy Store! So off I went! The range of dresses in here is really something and you almost feel like a celeb strutting about the changing room in them! They also sell some nice tops and accessories and the jewellery is pretty cute! Certainly won’t be leaving Lipsy until last next time! I found a dress, in fact I found 5, but at £60 odd quid a pop I had to reign myself in and down to just the one… sigh. Oh well, now for the shoes…

Lipsy do itsy bitsy spangly sparkly girley dresses. Most of their clothes suit girly girls who like to glam it up of a Saturday. The stuff in here wouldn’t be my bag at all, saying that I have bought an ace mac coat from Topshop which was Lipsy. I was recently lured in by a furry leopard print sixtes swing coat, it was simply AMAZING in a word but alas it was £100. However, a quick gander across the road to New Look revealed an identikit coat for £39, that’s 61 quid cheaper! I am now the owner of this coat of loveliness. Of course the Lipsy one was waayy better quality and had more plush fur, but I woulda been crazy to pay the extra £60 for something essentially the same. So to conclude this store has a wide selection of ‘going out’ clothes and helpful staff but you might just find something similar and save the pennies by shopping around. Believe me, I’m a professional!

The only store in the land, and it took Lipsy a while to convince themselves to come to Northern Ireland. But now they’re here. Yay. Lipsy was the one place I was convinced I would get a dress for graduation. I had tried everywhere else in Belfast, but to no avail, and I *needed* to find one here. Thankfully, as Rosejane mentioned in her review, the dresses aren’t too expensive, but money was the last thing on my mind. I just wanted a dress… Selecting a few of the more modest dresses, in any colour I could possibly find(you know things are bad when I do that…). As long as it was my size, I didn’t mind. Huh, are so I thought! Trying the dresses on in the changing rooms(which are sooo cute) presented a bit of a problem. Despite the dresses being the size I usually wear, not one of them fitted. And they didn’t have any the next size up. What the heck? I’m really not that big, so I dread to think how small the size sixes are… Beautiful, beautiful dresses, but sort your sizes out people! Merci.

Lots of pretty, very short girly dresses in delicate shades of peach and cream with some black lace, red and purple satins thrown which are of best use to young and skinny females on a night out clubbing — just by way of explanation to the uninitiated. There is a selection of fashionable shoes of a similar ilk. The clothes, in my view, look relatively tasteful for this type of gear, actually some of it is quite nice and manages to avoid looking tacky and with prices starting around £50 they are not too expensive. However, the dresses can stray into the«difficult to wear» category, being very short and too revealing at times. Worth remembering were the short furry jackets that would add a finishing touch with a bit of finesse to a short dress wearer stepping out on a chilly evening.
