Bradbury Gallery’s a favourite of mine. Even my friends who aren’t interested in art seem to like it, so it’s one of those places with mass appeal. They exhibit and sell both original paintings and signed copies. Bradbury also sell art online at their website: . Though I always think it’s better to see art ‘in the flesh’ rather than just online, therefore I’d advise calling into the gallery in person. A walk through this gallery always fills me with inspiration and then I pop into Bradbury Art which is conveniently in the same building and stock up on my art supplies. Super spot, one of my favourite places in Belfast.

Bradbury Gallery often shows a good range of different artists. It’s right next door to the art supply shop which is handy so you don’t miss it. It isn’t a huge gallery but it is well laid out. Some of the recent UUB graduates have work showing there, the likes of Angela Hutt, Chris Davis, Kyle Barnes, whose work is on show until 28th August. I particularly liked Hutts work so if you get a chance, call in to see it. This exhibition was decided following the resounding success of The End Of Year Show at the university and so the gallery decided to showcase, for the very first time, 3 artists from the show. The exhibitions change quite regularly so you often find a different array of works covering different themes. The prices are quite steep, but that’s only expected from fine art gallery. The prices do vary though so you should find something to suit your price range. There’s a calendar of events they hold throughout the year, including exhibitions with appearances from the artists. Their Gallery Services include: interest free credit, home approval and a bespoke framing service. Their framing is of a very high quality and they’ll do everything they can to meet your needs.
