Topiary

Checked out Topiary with a friend yesterday after work. It’s a bit hidden since it’s on the 3/​F of Hilltop Plaza, but so glad my friend took me here because I love their food menu! I love that it’s ALL vegetarian — Vegetarian Innovation. Having an all vegetarian menu, it makes the place quite unique and different from the other bars in town. If you’re not vegetarian, no need to worry. They do have the a separate special items on the menu which includes 2 different ham items.
The bar is opened by two bankers and you’d be able to tell right away from looking at the names of their cocktails — bonus season, bulge bucket, hostile takeover, and big swinging dick to name a few. A lot of the cocktails have fruits in them, a bit on the sweeter side, so perfect for a lady friend to sip on while the males kick back with one of their whisky selections /​drinks. The staff are quite friendly, nice, and polite. Always love going to places that have awesome staff.
There are two different outdoor patios at this bar — one for large parties and another for smaller groups. Since it’s located on the 3^rd floor, sitting outside is quite nice at this time of the year. The décor is quite nice with a Great Gatsby feel to it.
My absolute favorite thing about this bar are the truffle fries!!! The food here are tasty, and my favorite item of the 3 that we ordered yesterday are the fries. Oh so good and oh so yummy! I actually want some of those truffle fries right now as I finish typing this review! #nomnomnom
