I’ve tried a few Chinese seafood restaurants near the Bowrington market and this is just a mediocre Chiu Chow style restaurant.
The three of us ordered a dish of braised goose and tofu as appetizer, some stir-​fried vegetables, grilled fish and a spicy chicken. The food was alright… I’ve had better of each of those dishes elsewhere before. The most disappointing one was perhaps the fried spicy chicken as it was quite tasteless and not spicy at all.
I’m usually a big fan of local businesses that aren’t chain stores but I guess this restaurant must serve better quality food in order to keep their customers and survive to combat soaring rent in Causeway Bay.
