Taking the Star Ferry from Kowloon to the Hong Kong Island is truly a must do while in Hong Kong. This ferry route will take you to the HK Convention Centre (if you’re coming from the Kowloon side) or to the Tsim Sha Tsui ferry pier (if you’re coming from the Wan Chai side). The ride itself is pretty short, but you’re gonna wish that this ride would be longer though just so you can have more time to enjoy the views of both the Kowloon and HK side. Another plus side is that it’s cheap as hell to ride on the ferry and you can use your octopus card (what can’t you use with that damn thing?).
