Took the Star ferry from Wan Chai to Tsim Sha Tsui then from Tsim Sha Tsui back to Central. The pier here is definitely not as nice and well kept as those of Wan Chai (because this one is far newer) and Central. I found it small and more difficult to navigate. There were so many signs and places to go that weren’t fully labelled properly, it was pretty confusing for a first-​timer. For someone unfamiliar with the ticketing procedure, it would have also been confusing to know that the ticketing happens once you find you specific boat first, so you have to enter that «tunnel» before you’ll see the specific ticketing machine/​turnstiles.
The view from the pier back to the Hong Kong island side is stunning, but pretty packed at any given time from all the tourists there.

I think this is where we got a ferry to Macau? I don’t know, guys, Hong Kong Unilocal confuses me. If this is not the place where you get on a boat that takes you from Kowloon to Macau and other boat-​accessible destinations, my bad.
I found this place pretty chaotic and intimidating, as things go. Am I wrong or was there not a central ticketing area? There were all these independent agents peddling ferry tickets in the aggressive manner of street vendors selling souvenir key chains. It all felt pretty bootleg. When my mom started talking to one of these ticket sellers and disappeared for a few minutes, I got paranoid and went looking for her in case she got kidnapped.
She did not get kidnapped, and we ended up with TurboJet tickets just like everyone else going to Macau. That ride was short and uneventful enough, and we made it there and back in one day. I’m glad we were able to ferry out there, even if the experience was mildly dicey.

This is the cheapest way of crossing the harbour, not to mention it has one of the best views for a commute.
You can go to the Central Piers or to Wan Chai pier from this location.
For those visiting Hong Kong, you must try this during the daytime and at night (both to Central and Wanchai)
