I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food here. On my way to pick up my Chinese visa, I stopped here to grab lunch instead of waiting in the hot curling line at the china resources building.
I ordered the set lunch with an appetizer and main
($ 138). I was excited about the cherry dressing on my salad which looked great, but the cherry flavor was overwhelmed by the vinaigrette. On the other hand, the duck moist and worthy of a compliment.
The main course chicken made me miss grilling back home in the U.S. It was very moist and the thyme juice served as a flavorful addition.
Overall, this place had a nice, relaxed environment, helpful servers, and decent food. I would return to this location if I have to wait in another long line at the China Resources building.
