This was my local spot when I lived around the corner.
Good choice of food, reasonable prices and surroundings that are very casual.
I often grabbed take out from here, called in advance and the food was ready to go in minutes.
More of a North Indian flavour, but you get all the staples of Indian food that you would expect.
Friendly owner and very accommodating.

We went for lunch. Their set menus are only $ 55 and cover the curry varieties. We wanted to try some other options and went a la carte. Delicious! I had fish tikka which were generous portions of tender cod on a bed of sautéed onions. You can see in my picture how it was served on a sizzling platter.
They have several versions of menus. They usually lay out the simple version for lunch so ask about the a la carte menu if you want a more detailed version with pictures.
Their curries seemed to be really popular with the other patrons. Can’t wait to go back and try!
