Bakery Cafe

Absolutely loved their delicious vegetable risotto with truffle oil and fresh herbs (HKD 72). Amazing risotto!!! All main courses with tea or coffee cost an additional HKD 28. Water comes for free. They only serve lunch. In the evenings/​late afternoons there are only tea sets available. They serve coffee specialties like espresso or macchiato and brownies, muffins, apple crumble etc. I tried their apple crumble today and it was as yummy as it looked. The macchiato had the bitter taste to it that I am experiencing also at the Cupping room. Not my cup of tea. Will try the apple green tea next time. Cozy and clean café with pretty cups and plates and friendly staff. Love the wooden cake plates, modern quilt-​like armchairs and the white tables and tiles. It got style and the wifi is fast. I’ve been to Bakery Café twice now, and neither times have I been particularly wowed. Their coffee is just OK and their cupcakes were also not very memorable. If there aren’t any seats at the other cafes in the area then this one will do.
