You will most def. drive through a slightly shady neighborhood on your way to this place. You will also get lost and frustrated. Just know that it’s worth getting lost. lol The ice cream was very good, but my favorite part were the swings. It felt like I was a little girl in the park enjoying my ice cream. I didn’t try the waffle cone, but really wish I had. Next time!!!

We arrived a little after their closing time(10pm), yet they still allowed us to enjoy their wonderful ice cream. It had a pleasant atmosphere and a very unique concept of swinging chairs rather than most other restaurants. Magaly, the owner, and Ricardo, the other gentleman who worked there, were very kind and assisted us in picking some great flavors. I had pistachio, my wife had butter almond, and my daughter had chocolate with a freshly made waffle cone(a MUSTHAVE). Getting there is a bit difficult, so watch carefully while you’re driving to this amazing eatery. My friend’s family got lost on the way, but I luckily got to deliver their order to them before it melted!

I was not very impress, the fried ice wasn’t very good. The vanilla ice cream they used tasted old and the cereal they used for the batter tasted old also. But the coconut ice cream was very good with a waffle cone that’s what my wife order. if you go stay away from the fried ice cream. But I wouldn’t go back.

Great place to eat ice cream. There are swinging chairs, air conditioned room, and lots of ice cream choices. The ice cream is too Ivey for me. I have had richer ice cream so I’m docking down one star but its delicious to eat while in Puerto Rico.

It took us a while to find this place — both Google and Apple maps sent us to the wrong end of Calle Union. It’s at the«other» end towards 194⁄195! I was pleased we found it though — great ice cream and cool swing seats — I have never been anywhere with those before. I can see how one reviewer thought this was a dodgy area after dark — it is rather run down but I suspect it’s just that way to an outsider. I’m sure Puerto Riceños would not consider it dodgy. I’ve certainly been in dodgier areas in cities around the world!

The waffle cone is a must to try here. They make it fresh every time you place an order. The ice cream is okay. The swing seating definitely adds to the charm of this place.

Yikes! Drove here after supper tonight. & didn’t even get out of the car! Did not appear to be a very safe neighborhood… maybe it looks a lot different in daylight.

Thank you so much to Tiffany’s review! My husband and I drove to this little gem for some ice cream. Waffle cones — OH. MY. It’s not the traditional crispy kind. The batter they use create a soft and chewy texture. I had a lot of waffle cones in my life but I think this is probably the best one I ever had. It looks like a family owned business and it has the«everyone knows everyone» feel in there. Oh not to forget, you get to sit on SWINGS instead of regular boring chairs. There was a big birthday party when we stopped by. It’s a very family friendly environment and kids have a GREAT time there. It was so busy there that the owner told us to sit down, finish our ice cream first and pay later. What a lovely lady. Address clarification: Cremaldi Ice Cream is located at the interaction of PR-195 and Cll Federico Garcia.

At the suggestion of one of the locals I met on my trip to Puerto Rico, I ventured out to find Cremaldi. This place is UNIQUE and CHEAP. The ice cream itself is nothing spectacular, but it’s the atmosphere that makes this place really cool. You buy your ice cream and you get to sit on SWINGING benches!!! It is 5 minutes from the Fajardo Ferry Terminal on PR-195, so I highly suggest you stop by before or after visiting Vieques or Culebra to get some ice cream. They also have fried ice cream(Mantecado Frito): Vanilla Ice Cream covered in corn flakes fried and topped with all the toppings that you could desire.
