Administration changed… Not the same! Not same
Treatment, experience, service… Even variety! A wine bar like this require a professional there, and is not there anymore! Is one of this places that you go for the treatment and be treated by the Owner… Sadly it’s gone!

The all cheese platter is to die for. Ambiance= 10 stars. We wish this place was back home.

Great wine selection. It’s s very clean place and right inside the hotel. I like the different type of glasses they use with the different type of wine. The lighting is perfect inside the bar but not outside.

Delicious tapas, nicely presented. excellent music and attentive service. Loved this wine bar which was oddly deserted but fun on a Thursday night in PR. Bubbly flight just made me crave a glass of veuve clicquot but maybe that was the whole point. Highly recommend this barely off the beaten path spot.

Must.try.cheese.plate. Its a mound of delectable cheeses, alongside bread, nuts, dried figs and other goodies. Also… the churrasco was the best ever!!! Creamy, rich, flavorful. And the wine flights made for a fun start to the evening. Don’t let the location or the small interior fool you– this place packs a punch!

Music selection is great. Wines offered by the glass were mediocre. Place was out of Chimay Blue. Wine of the month free taste wasn’t even offered even though this was a reward for checking in.

Even though the Hotel Verdanza does not sit on the main Isla Verde strip, its just a 5 – 10 minute walk from nearly any place in Isla Verde. The lobby is nicely decorated with a very cool swanky feel to it and the highlight is Di Vino. From the second we walked in, the owner Dario welcomed us with a smile. What I liked most was the intimate and romantic setting, which is probably hard to find at one of the busier hotels. We began by trying 5 different types of wine, all which Dario explained charmingly and eloquently. We also decided to order 2 types of empanadas (both DELICIOUS… especially the beef empanada). We ordered the Churrasco, but Dario suggested we try the Filet Mignon… which we were EXTREMELY grateful for. David, one of the servers was also very charming, helpful and knowledgeable. Of course, we sampled 3 other wines and had one of the simplest yet best evenings of our trip!

Wonderful, quiet, outdoor patio. Dario, our server (and the owner!) recommended excellent tapas and a great bottle of wine. The ceviche was the best I’d had in a long time. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and looking for a nice alternative to traditional Puerto Rican cuisine.

Wonderful selection of wines available with reasonable prices for a glass, bottle, or a flight for tasting. We had several things from the tapas menu and our favorites were the Parmigiano-​Reggiano and the Chorizo. The people were so friendly that we had a hard time leaving. I will definitely recommend Di Vino Wine & Tapas to my friends that visit San Juan.

Friendly service, and a cool vibe. Located a short walk off the main drag in Isla Verde, Di Vino is tucked in a corner of the Hotel Verdanza. They have a large selection of wines, available by the glass in 3 sizes from 1.5 to 5 ounces. The tapas menu is not huge, but the items on it are done well, and priced reasonably. Note that the kitchen closes about 90 minutes before the bar does, so if you want to eat, time your visit accordingly.
The wine is also available in themed «flights» that let you sample several different flavors to broaden your palate, or to help you choose a wine you’d like for a fuller pour.
They also had a Unilocal promotion going on when we visited — free 1.5 oz glass with Unilocal check in.
All in all, a great hideaway that deserves checking out.

Love the place!
Elegant atmosphere, excellent service, creative cocktails and a diverse wine list make this one of my favorite spots. I have been there with my wife and it is a great place for a date, I have also been there with a group of friends and we all had a fantastic time. The place has indoor and garden tables, the service will earn 5 stars and the owner makes wonders to make you feel as a VIP from the moment you arrive.
Highly recommended!
