Hotel Restaurant. But quite good. We ate here twice, since it was convenient, and good. Both meals, the service was very helpful and friendly. The food was quite flavorful. The Bacalhau was great, though not quite what I expected(honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect for Bacalhau, and it’s my understanding that whoever prepares it, prepares it in their own way. So… Yea… It was just good.) I also got to enjoy the pork and clams — Which, was as awesome as it sounds.

This place is stunning. Same as the other reviewer, you’ll truly feel like a princess at this restaurant. The staff is amazing. The décor is incredible. I feel as I’ve stepped back in time. And the food is spectacular. I had the Portuguese sea bass grilled with vegetables and truffle potatoes. It was delicious! I didn’t order an appetizer as I was alone, but the chef gave me a sampler(I can’t remember what was on the plate, except that it was an excellent combination. I ended the meal with am expresso and they brought me a dessert sampler. I don’t have a sweet tooth so the dessert was a too much for me, but I did take a small bite of each one. Excellent place to dine. Pricey, but well worth it!

Sabem aquelas histórias com castelos, reis e princesas em que, no auge da aventura, costuma haver sempre um baile lindíssimo onde toda a corte marca presença num salão, literalmente, nobre? Pois bem, se jantarem no Restaurante Valle Flôr vão ter a sensação de ser uma das personagens desses contos. A decoração é primorosa até(aliás, principalmente) nos pormenores: o que são aqueles capitéis dourados? E que dizer dos estuques nas paredes? Os frescos também são um mimo! Bom, passemos à gastronomia, da qual só podia esperar muito primor, digno de um espaço de cinco estrelas. Naquele jantar, tive a oportunidade de me regalar com uma espetada de novilho a combinar perfeitamente com um(para mim, inédito) puré de ervilha. No entanto, o Valle Flôr destaca-se é pelas suas sobremesas: apesar de «só» ter degustado uma ótima mousse, fiquei tentado por outros doces visualmente irresistíveis, com muito castanho(de chocolate) e vermelho(de morango) à mistura!
