Agree that this is heaven for meat lovers. 9.3 euro a combo that a strong Asian man cannot finish. Satisfied.

Le frango Churrasco quelle institution portugaise, et exécuté à la perfection dans cette petite échoppe lisboète(à prendre à emporter uniquement). Le poulet est parfaitement cuit, et toujours tendre, avec ce petit côté grillé qu’on aime tant. Vous pouvez le demander piquant. On a pris une portion de riz: un peu aillé juste ce qu’il faut il accompagnait le poulet à la perfection. Et que serai un piqué-nique portugais sans de belles olives et une salade de tomate? Vous né serez pas déçu vous avez de quoi faire un piquenique d’anthologie ! Et les prix sont dérisoires!

Looked like Chicken Heaven, and well… ITIS! It’s a small take away place, so there are no seats, cheap and totally great barbecued chiken, can’t really get wrong with this place. Only drawback, if you are not taking it home to it, you have to do it by hand on the streets…

AMAZING! You will be in meat heaven! These guys know what they’re doing. Best find in Lisbon so far!!! We missed closing time by 5 mins yesterday after our flight arrived late. A really pleasant guy(the owner?) came out to greet us and let us know specific times they’re open the next day. It did not disappoint the next night, we had the Mista 2: 1 Chicken, 3 Sausages and 6 Ribs then added a side of rice. Check out the menu in my photos. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life! This is even after coming back from a well known seafood restaurant. We will be going back before we leave for Canada!

Thank God for the Rain! On a city break it’s «sacrilege» to stay in your hotel room when there’s so much to fit in. After a couple of days trudging the streets, especially those hilly Lisbon streets we could’ve happily slept for a week, but we must explore! :-S But at that moment the heavens opened. A Devine intervention of monsoon proportions, which gave us reason to stay in and the chance to sprint to this ultra-hip takeaway that’s all the talk. There’s no seating in this tiny shop(not exactly true, there’re 2 midget seats), so it was a quick in and out for menu 1 — consisting of ½ a chicken, 4 ribs and a chunky sausage all from the grill, with salted hot rice and a cooling tomato salad. They baste the grilled meat with a choice of lemon and herb or chilli oil, there’s more than enough for 2 and it’s the best meat feast I’ve devoured — All for € 10! The guys are laid back, funny and can crack jokes in English all day long. But if you fancy a quickie(a pint, that is) while waiting there’s a bar called Gayola next door that’s pretty decent and will serve you pretty quickly. A short 5 minute run back to our hotel, soaked, but who cares? Let the feast begin!!!

great place to get frango assado for take out. a full one comes to 7 – 9 euros. took off one star because they don’t have much other than potato and tomato for sides. chorizo and ribs are also available. 8/10, would go again!

O sitio onde posso ir buscar um frango de churrasco, sempre que chego um pouco mais tarde casa(cerca de 900 gramas por unidade). Da primeira vez que o visitei, resolvi trazer como acompanhamento batatas fritas à rodela, home made — quem as faz é o Sr. Francisco, especialista em bem atender os seus muitos clientes. É um serviço de take-away, o que à partida me levou a desconfiar da sua qualidade. Mas depois de experimentado o frango, fiquei uma acérrima defensora do estabelecimento. Merece a visita, uma e outra vez(na verdade, tantas quando puder).

Que frango grelhado TÃOBOM!!! Confesso que fico sempre com um pé atrás relativamente a espaços take-away mas este é do melhor que há. Por seis euros leva-se para casa um frango inteiro grelhado, temperado magistralmente. E quando a preguiça aperta fortemente, nada melhor que levar também logo o arroz basmati e a salada de tomate e orégãos para acompanhar. Nos grelhados, têm ainda entrecostos, salsichas, etc. Mas o frango nunca me deu margem para provar outra coisa…

Abriu recentemente perto de minha casa e veio colmatar uma grande falha que havia na zona. Sempre que queria frango assado a partir de determinada hora só se fosse até à Calçada do Combro e agora está a duas ruas de distância. Confesso que quando se trabalha em casa há pouca vontade de cozinhar e por isso lá rumo eu várias vezes a buscar um frango. E sabe-me sempre como se fosse a primeira vez que provo! É uma maravilha! Combina perfeitamente com as batatas fritas com oregãos e as azeitonas. É possível ligar a reservar para que seja ainda mais rápido.
