Nice, cozy place for a drink. We had a couple cocktails, actually, only me and my friend did, all others had tea (party poopers!) Cocktails were ok. I had a Pornstar Martini, which I found ok, but my friend’s Mojito was actually very tasty, even though I normally don’t like those (all those weeds in my drink, juck) I was pleasantly surprised to find this one quite to my licking. euh liking ;)
Personal was nice but a little aloof. Might depend on their mood that evening. I really liked the atmosphere of the place. Trendy design, lots of wood, and funny free Boomerang cards. Always fun ^^

Good crowd; bad cocktails.
Decent place for checking the mariaplaats bar scene. Pretty solid and busy crowd on the weekend — but a bit narrow so it’s hard to navigate or gather unless you have a seat.
Save yourself the disappointment (and EUR 8) and skip the cocktails. We tried both the caprioska and ginger margarita and were disappointed before we even had a chance to swallow. Oh well, maybe some place in Utrecht will come through one day, and no raketjes do NOT count :).

One of the stops on our pub crawl last Saturday. Sadly at two in the morning they don’t serve cocktails anymore which is a big minus for me. However, even at this hour and as busy as it was, we could still have normal conversations with each other. The interior is retro and hip, which works really well. Their menu’s (food, cocktails, drinks) are well thought out and match the feel of the place.
As a bar at night, it’s a fun place to still have conversations with your friends. And as a restaurant during the day, I can’t wait to come back and try the scones with lemon curd and the espresso martini! So expect an update.
