This place was recommended to me by a coworker who said, «If you need a place to grab and go in the old town, go here!». So I did. He was right. This place is a nice little Greek snack bar that is actually opposite from its big brother directly across the walking path(hence the word ‘petit’). They serve a pretty authentic Greek pork gyro — which I have yet to taste even in Amsterdam — which brought me back to my days in the«xorio». Make sure you order it «apo ola». The portions are also pretty decent for 5 euro(–1 for the price but understandable given its location). They also have other classic Greek snacks like dolmodakia. Warning: this place does not have any places to sit. The closest place to sit and enjoy is a couple of benches under a canopy across the walking path directly in front of the main restaurant. Ein Pita Laden im Zentrum von Utrecht in der Nähe des Doms gelegen. Der Laden ist recht klein, aber man kann sich mit seinem Snack auch prima vor den Dom setzen. Die Pita kosten fast alle EUR5 und man bekommt diverse Varianten, so z.B. auch vegetarische. Ich hatte die Standardvariante und muss sagen, dass es richtig lecker war. Das Fleisch war kross und frisch vom Spies, das Tzaziki ordentlich gewürzt und das Brot frisch. Das ganze ist etwas kompliziert zu essen, aber das kennt man ja aus dem Griechenlandurlaub.
