Cosy restaurant with a great view! The menu is limited, but the food is superb. The service is relatively quick, the stuff is friendly, wifi is present. They have a lunch time offers till 4. When it comes to dinner menu, you can have a half of a dish, or combine your dish out of two halves of other dishes. What I didn’t like is that when I asked a cup of hot water(I already had a cup of tea, and had ordered two dishes) they charged me as if for tea, which I think is unfair. But overall, I enjoyed my time there!

I went there with my family and was pleased with the super nice staff who welcomed us even if it was a bit late for dinner on Dutch time. The food was a good surprise. I expected it to be average, but it was way better than just average! And the plates are nicely presented. The only downside is that for some reason we were seated in the middle of the room instead of the available table at the window overlooking the gracht. We were told that it was booked, but that was definitely not true. The menu is also not spectacular. But for the view, the good food and the super friendly staff, I recommend it!

Nice place. Have stopped for coffee in the past but never really observed it well. The interior is friendly and cozy, not very special but attractive nonetheless. I had the vegetarian curry and the cheesecake to boot. Actually, I wanted to watch my diet, but I had to try and rate the cheesecake, so there you go. Unilocal excuses ;) The curry was alright but more like a Asian-themed sauce than a real curry. I am not a curry connoisseur per-see but I do love my curries, and this one just didn’t hit the mark. To be honest. it point blank missed it. Which was a shame. It was served appealingly though and might be perfect for people who are not so into Asian deliciousness and want to try a mild variation on the Asian theme. But for me, not so much. I like the real deal. A lesson learned: do not order specialty food in places that aim for more main-stream dishes. So well. All hopes on the cheesecake. When it was served, it definitely looked home-made, in a cute and homely way. Bastogne biscuits for crust, and an appealing portion of cream on top. Sadly, also this wasn’t something that send me through the roof. It was nice, for sure, but not great. There were also slivers of gelatin or something in it, which weren’t a big hit for me. So I am actually tempted to give this place two stars. But that might be a little harsh. So I’ll give them three. Because my friends and I had a lot of fun, and I liked their version of a water carafe: a recycled wine bottle, stripped of all labels and filled with water. That was actually quite cool. I might steal the idea. So yes. For that. Three stars. Whoop!

2 months ago I brought my dad there for dinner, wanted to show him that there is also great food in the Netherlands. It was satisfactory but nothing special. Service was good. The ambiance was nice, cosy restaurant, we had a table with a view on the canal it was very pretty.

Had a good lunch outside on the terrace, I’m a sucker for goat cheese sandwiches so obviously I had one and it was good. Our server however had this vibe of being to good for you and in the end we had to walk inside to pay our bill even though it was a very quiet afternoon service. It undermines the experience of a relaxed lunch in my opinion. So, good food, clean toilets only a few minor details in the service that disappointed that day. However, I plan on coming back to try more of their food and see if the service was just a one time thing, so hopefully I will return with an update adding at least another star.

Went here with my mom. It has a great view of the oudegracht. Also the food is great!
