My Dutch classmates took my friends and I here when we were studying in Rotterdam in the summer of 2012. They described it as a great place to experience a real Dutch bar/club since the others in the city are pretty international and generic. It is a located along Stadhuisplein, a pedestrian-only street lined with a bunch of similarly set up bar/clubs with plenty of outdoor seating. All of them love to promise free admission to women or free shots(aka sugar water) if you go in. We had fun dancing and listening to the dance music(most of which was in Dutch), but I found it really annoying that the DJ talked throughout the songs(even the chorus!), that they only played about a minute of each song before switching to another and that my ears were ringing for two days after because it was so unbelievably loud. It’s a cool place to try out, but not a place I would frequent.
