Searched for a place to eat, found it online, and wasn’t disappointed at all! A very cool, place in the downtown of Rotterdam, not far from the main shopping street, it offers great food, for really really good prices. The meals are tasty and really good portioned, and the decorations and attention to details is also to mention. The only aspect that steals the last *, is the fact that the service is not organised the best, and some of the waitresses are really clumsy(they mixed up our order pretty badly). Anyways, if you are looking for a nice place to eat, I would definitely recommend this place.

The food was pretty much average but there was quite a bit of variety. I had the chicken satay with rice. They forgot to bring out our garlic bread and charged us for it anyway, but we got that sorted out. The décor is… strange. I guess it’s supposed to be like the Flintstones. The best part of it was that it was the only place open for a 9ish PM dinner in Rotterdam.

An interesting place, probably a tourist trap, with a very strange iconic logo. The restaurant is on the perimiter of a large square in central Rotterdam(just south of Weena street south of Central Station). The square is filled with restaurants with large outdoor seating areas, similar to what you’d see in Spain or even Rio de Janiero. At the front of Betty Beer is a large ceramic Bear(yes, spelled correctly) that is dressed like Bety Boop(old school iconic animated character from the old MGM days). So, «the bear», looks like«the boop», while the place is called«the beer». Strangely, the interior is decorated with nothing but teddy bears. It’s not done in a overly feminne way, but it is just outright peculiar. It’s like a log cabin atmosphere decorated with teddy bears. I didn’t eat there, but craved a few Heinekens. They were cold and relatively cheap — what’s not to enjoy? A quick overview of the food — it looked like it had a diverse menu… maybe like a touristy Chili’s menu but with a strange theme. By the way, the italian joint next door was excellent.
