We had a 11 hour lay over in Amsterdam. So we rented a car and took a drive. We found this amazing little spot for Pizza! Our waiter was wonderful. Neither of us speak Dutch, our waiter didn’t even ask, he brought an iPad over with everything in English and did his best to communicate in English and was so friendly! Great little modern pizza place. The Cappanori is an amazing pizza.

This place has pretty good pizza not the best I’ve ever had but the crust is nice and crispy. Avacados in my salad were not ripe and kind of crunchy– so try to only order items that are seasonally appropriate. The dressing, starters were all excellent. I’m sure if I ordered the salad I’m late summer it would have been much better.

This place was exceptional and the service was outstanding. Most of the staff spoke excellent English (Thank You) and food was brought out in a reasonable amount of time. Get the Pizza/​Salad in which they place the salad in the middle of the pizza. This would have been more than enough food for two people, but we also got an appetizer which was delicious. Very sorry I was not able to go back and check out more options.

Since this restaurant is packed most of the time, the waiters can’t help everyone as efficiently. That however is no reason for bad service.
My pizza was delivered and it tasted like the vegetables weren’t cleaned properly. So it tasted like sand.
When I notified a waiter, all she said was OK and then walked away. Like I was ignored?
So when considering this restaurant, first see if it’s not too busy.
Pricing isn’t cheap for Italian pizza or pasta. But it’s not expensive either.
Hoofddorp has better and tastier alternatives. Especially if you want pizza :)
