La Cubanita is one of the «all you can eat» formulas, but this time for a tapas style restaurant. You can choose all you can eat tapas for 17.50 Euro per person from Monday till Thursday. I went to La Cubanita with 2 girlfriends on Thursday night. We were planning to have an evening with nice food, nice talks and atmosphere. The place was extremely busy and it seemed like sitting and having dinner in the middle of an extremely big train station — so much noise. the food is not good and it doesnt have to do much with Spanish tapas. The dishes were swimming in oil and some of them were really bad — like the mussels. Make sure that you will be loud and clear when communicating that the food is bad… as they will charge you 2.50 for a semi empty dish.
All in all, La Cubanita is not a place I would go again. The17.50 Euro all you can eat tapas is not a great deal and as mentioned… food doesnt have any resemblance to Spanish tapas.
