This café has a modern and friendly appearance. Every coffee drinker will love the cappuccino, which is outstanding. For lunch the Plateau Dodici is a recommendation (if you are with two persons). The combination of a bruschetta and a plate with two kinds of fish, meat and cheese is excellent.

Het café ziet er modern en uitnodigend uit om wat te komen drinken. Koffieliefhebbers kunnen hier hun hart ophalen want de cappuccino is uitstekend. Met een volle smaak en goede schuimkraag is er niets op aan te merken.
Wat lekker is om te eten (wanneer je met z’n tweeën bent) is het Plateau Dodici: bestaande uit een bruschetta broodje, met daarnaast een plateau met twee soorten vis, twee soorten vleeswaren en twee soorten kaas. De combinatie is verassend lekker.

In Kurz: Nettes kleines Bistro direkt am Marktplatz in Haarlem gelegen. Sowohl zum Frühstück als auch zum Lunch, Kaffee und Dinner geeignet.
Wir sind hier durch Zufall gelandet. Es war ein wunderbar sonniger Tag in Haarlem und der gesamte Platz war voll und im Dodici, was mir ohnehin auf den ersten Blick am besten gefiel, wurde ein kleiner Tisch frei. Also nix wie hin und die Handtücher hinlegen — so wie wir Deutschen das halt machen:-)
Hier konnte ich dann wunderbar meine blasse Visage in die Sonne halten und die tolle Aussicht auf den Platz genießen. Ich hatte einen sehr leckeren Smoothie und einen nicht wirklich günstigen aber kleinen Salat mit leckerem Krebsfleich (King Crab).
Das Frühstück der verkaterten Spätaufsteher am Nachbartisch sah auch super gut aus! Falls ich nochmal in Haarlem sein sollte, spricht nichts dagegegen hier einzukehren. Ob man hier auch gut dinieren kann, weiß ich allerdings nicht.

While walking around the center of Haarlem, I noticed this restaurant’s Italian name and kindly requested to my boyfriend if he could take me here for my birthday.
I should have looked at the menu before the request, as I was pretty disappointed when I realized that not only was there absolutely no semblance of Italian food (why is the name in Italian?) but everything was catered to a Dutch palette (re: Nachos with piri piri is actually cheesy doritos with hot sauce. for 10 euro. are you kidding me?)
The drinks and service was good, but the food and price were not worth it in my opinoin.
