Absolutely the best beer bar in Eindhoven. It’s pretty small (narrow) and easy to miss, but so much better than the larger, more «trendy» places nearby. If you’re a beer lover, it doesn’t matter where you come from, this pub has something you will love, plus amazing hospitality! As an American, I tend to feel like an outcast when I go out in Europe, but I felt right at home at De Bierprofessor. Pros: Huge, diverse bottle list, knowledgeable staff, and excellent conversation. Cons: Not a damn thing. 10 out of 10 would drink here again.

You need to look sharp to find the Bierprofessor. Number 33 is narrow and there are places on both sides that are much larger. If you love craft beer and a great selection of Belgians, then this is your place. When I walked in the Bierprofessor was full (not so the places next door.) Their list of beers is two pages with small print and two colums per page. That is a large number of beers.
When I want beer, I do not want quantity, I look for quality. This place has quality and variety. I will defintely be back here on my next trip to Eindhoven.
