Excellent Belgian-​style pub. Outstanding beer selection with some tasty local drafts. The food was very good. We had a variety of starters and their 3-​course fixed menu. We enjoyed every dish and the curried-​ketchup for the fries was a big hit with our group. A great place to spend an evening with friends. We’ll definitely will be back the next time we’re in The Hague.

My first trip to The Hague and I found myself here 2 times during the week. Their beer selection is phenomenal, the old world charm makes it a great place to sit and the food is excellent as well. The sirlon is thick and tasty and the fries that accompany meals are some of the most perfect cut fries I have tried. They are the perfect size to hold a nice crispy texture and taste wonderful. come for the bitterballen and stay for the triples

Tolle Bar mit einer wirklich sehr lustigen Athmosphäre! Große Auswahl an Bieren+Schnaps! Die Auswahl am Essen ist nicht alzu groß, ich selbst habe nichts gegessen und kann zum Geschmack nichts sagen

It’s a great location in town, close to the shopping streets.
A nice atmosphere, lots of dark wood, old brick walls, and a huge terrace.
They have a great choice of beers, including most of the good Belgian beers, and excellent food, Not the typical pub food actually, rather good dishes with each time a specific beer advised.
So you can go there for just a drink or a full dinner. In the evening quite often full and you might need to wait for a table if you did not reserve.
Service is as expected, nothing special, just regular Dutch service.

I like this place, I really do; though I’m only familiar with their beers and bar snacks :)
We go here so often. It’s good, but not consistent.
Sometimes the service is great, sometimes it sucks.
Sometimes the food is great, sometimes it has to be sent back and cooked longer.
Sometimes it smells like piss, sometimes it doesn’t…
All in all it’s good (closer to 3.5 stars). Great beer selection and lots of space indoors and out, but still always packed. It’s a good place to meet up with friends and they host really fun events when there is something to get excited about, like football ;)

I used to visit this bar/​resturant all the time it is great for Belgium beers. However recently we couldn’t get served it was impossible to get the attention of the waitresses who seemed more interested in joking around and smoking outside (this was during the summer when the outside terrace was open)
It is a shame as the service is always slow but well worth it for the lovely beers. However when we wanted to order food it seemed impossible we got frustrated and walked out after I made a comment to them about how lazy they were. They looked at me like I was crazy, I am not a very demanding person but I expect a certain level of service when going to eat out, these staff members gave a bad impression of the place and I will try going there in the future just to see if an improvement has been made as the selection of Belgium beers is great. I’m not sure about the food as we never got to taste it, but I have heard it is pretty good, I look forward to hearing some more reviews from people on this one.
