My wife and I wanted a quiet and not-​too-​complicated dinner on our last night in Delft, and we chose De Wijnhaven. It is oriented more towards drinks than food, but it has a decent food selection and it had what we wanted. We both chose the steak, which comes with mushroom-​onion-​wine gravy, a salad and excellent French Fries. The steak was perfectly done and quite tender. The sauce was not overly salty and very flavorful.
We sat in the «mezzanine» above the main floor — there is another level further up. I was pleased to note that while there was background music, it was at low volume and the noise level was quite low. It was fun to look out onto the main part and also onto the street. An English menu was provided and the service was excellent.

Decent prices for filling meals. The «daily» dish on Sundays and Mondays is a great deal for dinner at only 5 euros.
