These are the best fries I’ve had in Amsterdam, with Burger Bar coming in a close second. AD named them the best fries in Amsterdam in 2014, so I have some evidence to back me up in this assertion. Their fries are crispy and flavorful, and the owner is friendly. One time I got overcharged by like 20 cents for a sauce by some dude working in the van, but that’s the only bad thing I can say about the place.
Pull up a plastic chair and enjoy the pigeons and masses of people walking by while you’re enjoying your fries. It’s like a little vacation without leaving Amsterdam. :)
