I got the vegetable curry side dish and chicken tiki masala and it was really good and a ton of food. I ordered it for takeout and it could’ve fed six people. The chicken tiki masala had a lot of cilantro in it which I loved but if you’re not a fan of cilantro you may not like it. staff was really friendly and it’s really nice inside the restaurant. it came with rice free of charge and I ordered one non-bread for a total of 26 euro. pretty good deal.

We are tourists from Los Angeles and Chicago, so we have a well tested palate for indian cuisine. Tandoor is a classic indian restaurant with an Indian chef. Samosa prepared to perfection(flaky crispy crust and not oily inside). We also had lamb biryiani which was generous with the meat and also not oily. Service was on «Indian Standard Time.» Comfortable and stylish dining room. Mostly locals and businessmen when we dined there.

Cheap Indian restaurant. Our starters and dessert were not so good, our main was okay. Would not really go here except if you have a groupon deal(so it will be very cheap). Service was friendly but our table was not clean when we sat down(even though the restaurant was empty). When I asked for water, the waitress brought me a big plastic supermarket bottle of spa. Also the wine glasses weren’t clean. Quite a disappointment.

Oh, Dutch service, you never cease to be the topic of conversation. I came to Tandoor with a reservation and party of 4. We were sat immediately, and I was pleasantly surprised when the waitress /hostess took our jackets while whisking us to our seats. Then she demanded that my friend write her email address and phone number on our groupon. OK, fair enough, but you can say please or thank you? My friends and I came with a groupon, which was good value for money with a starter, generous entrée portion and dessert. But the appetizer of onion bahjee was glorified onion rings, and they charged us € 4 for extra hot sauce. The Chicken Tikka was good, served with naan, and we ordered raita which was also nice. For dessert I ordered cardamon rice pudding, but the flavor was way overpowering, and the rice was rather soupy. We had 2 bottles of their cheapest white wine, and the groupn + company made the food a good buy, even if the was service comical. Was ok for something new, but probably wouldn’t go again, even with a groupon.

Big restaurant for the small street, very central. It has a reserved area for buffets. The décor is quite simple despite the tradition of Indian places. The food was okish, nothing exciting but the service was really good. The Tandoori chicken I ate was nothing great, quite tasteless and not spicy at all. The Lamb was on the too spicy side but still not very tasty. Samosas as starter were not great… and the beer served was the small cobra bottle instead of the big one you usually get. The place really smelled like Indian food… a lot… very very much… that is also something I do not appreciate. Over all, a standard place with the look of a high end one. Prices are on the lower tier luckily. Bad note, there was a TV!!!
