Starbucks

What can i say about Starbucks that has not been said before?
This Starbucks offers the same range of coffees, drinks and snacks as any other outlet of the coffee giant in the country. The downfall of this place, in my opinion, is the way it feels. it is always a bit messy and it does not have that cozy feeling that other Starbucks might have. In a way, it makes sense because it is located in Sloterdijk train station, so the majority of us, has its coffee to go, and for that, it does the trick just fine!

OK, OK. As far as Starbucks reviews go, they coffee/​hot chocolate/​whatever is usually the same, right? Yes, because that’s how they build their business!
But what it comes down to is the service, location, and atmosphere. This Starbucks is an oasis in the Sloterdijk train station. When it’s hustling and bustling, inside can feel nice and relaxed. I spent a little time in here waiting for my husband and it was a great place to chill and enjoy the seasonal Honey Almond Hot Chocolate (with chocolate whipped cream! YUM!).
The service was nice and polite, not over the top which is fine with me. All I care about is a friendly exchange and I’m happy. And I like the located which is fairly easy to spot but in a corner to itself. So you can sit at the glass and people watch or you can go towards the back and feel removed from the busyness.

Not a bad Starbucks at all for the station that it is in. Walking into this Starbucks takes you out of the hussle and bussle of Amsterdam Sloterdijk station and brings you into the world of Starbucks. The lines are surprisingly short in the mornings (around 08:30) and each time I was there I was able to order my drink right away without having to wait in line. There are plenty of tables to sit at as well as a small section to buy Starbucks things like mugs, coffee, etc.

What I love most of the time about Starbucks is their atmosphere. I always feel at ease with their music playing in the background. I love sitting down in one of their bulky chairs with an interesting book and relaxing with a big cup of chamomile tea. I was even successful to get my Dutch man hooked on Starbucks Coffee.
All he drank was illy Coffee, until he met me. He stated Starbucks Coffee was overrated. So, I thought that I would prove him wrong, by buying him a bag of Italian Coffee. After that he was obsessed with Starbucks coffee, he no longer cried out for his European lattes. He soon craved every morning the regular taste of an American latte. Starbucks is good, however on the other hand, expensive but well worth every taste. I guess you pay for what you get! Starbucks Coffee Company continues to lead in brand of distinctive coffee on a global level. It’s so refreshing to know if your in LA, Tokyo, Amsterdam or any major cosmopolitan city in the world that you always have access to them.
