What makes this Starbucks different from every other one? Location, location, location, MFs! 5⁄5 stars for that. But wait, did your sign say Specuuloos latte? WH… WHA…WHAT??? To quote Barney Gumble, «JUSTSTICKITINMYVEINS!» Quick lines, good service, not really too crowded considering its proximity to the Centraal. Something is wrong. There can’t be this marvelous marriage of speculoos and coffee. After all, I wasn”t even in A’dam when Sinterklaas arrived… I was a bad boy. I am not worthy. In many stores that still had chocolate letters, all that was left was X’s and U’s. I’m…not…worthy. And Starbucks agreed, because THEYDIDN’T HAVEENOUGHSTUFFTOMAKEMEONE!!! WHATBLASPHEMY!!! THEYHADTHESIGNSANDADSUP!!! NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! :-( Damn it. But hey, service was good, and it’s centrally located. damn. Like the dead-eyed prostitutes in De Wallen, the fabulousssstthth candy vendors selling delicious Dutch licorice(the way licorice is supposed to be), overly optimistic cheese store employees, this store gets an A for effort. But DAMN though!

Not a big fan of this particular Starbucks. This could be because it’s built sort of in a passageway to various businesses inside the Hilton. To the left there’s a car rental company, to the right there’s a classier restaurant and the hotel lobby itself, not to mention that the toilets are a level downstairs. This adds up to a lot of traffic while you’re sitting there along with just general untidiness. A lot of the patrons don’t clean up after themselves and leave trash on the tables. The seating is ample, though, and if you’re lucky to get a table outside then you’re in better luck. Coffees and cuisine are your staple Starbucks. It’s just that the place feels a bit icky.

Perfect place to quench your Starbucks need. It’s also connected to the hotel so it’s easy access if you’re staying there. The staff is genuinely friendly, it’s at a great location for sitting outside on and enjoying the view of Amsterdam, if the weather is nice.

Friendly, chipper staff. Great view of the canals, and ridiculously good wifi — even better than the wifi at the hostel I was staying at. Isn’t that all we really need?

Está bastante bien, no hay mucho sitio para sentarse normalmente al estar tan cerca de la estación central, ni tiene un diseño espectacular pero es un starbucks no? :D

Yes… c’est vrai… most of the staff here doesn’t speak native Dutch. And definitely it’s possible that a batch of coffee will not be brewed correctly… but it’s just another Starbucks to me and since it’s on my way to work, I come here for my ever so needed morning grande iced americano! I don’t think I’ve ever felt the need to review a Starbucks because other than getting 32 once coffees in the US, most s-bux around the world are almost the same to me. This place has the normal s-bux cushy couches, sugary and fatty selection of breakfast belly makers, ever changing selection of eco-friendly coffees. This location has a discount for people who work in the area so don’t miss out on that! Other than that and the language thing, I think it’s your average everyday s-bux. I speak my non-native Dutch with the employees and they always respond back in Dutch, so no problems there. Ultimately within five minutes, my hand is already getting slightly damp from the growing condensation on the smooth sides of my plastic cup with my name spelled with one ‘n’ carrying my liquid caffeine necessary on Mondays and for fun on Fridays. Mission accomplished. Btw, denis reminds with pe… never mind. Just please add the extra ‘n’ in there for me :)

It’s a starbucks, it’s a starbucks in a hotel, about .2 miles from the 2 starbucks in the train station. It’s is cute, the staff is friendly and helpful, but the coffee was a bit burnt… sigh. Plenty of space to order your drink and to wait for your drink.

Who drinks at a Starbucks in Amsterdam, I do. Especially when it’s in my hotel and I wake up jetlagged and need coffee. Big comfy chairs that overlook the canal. Ya… I’m a fan.
