Super cute and cozy restaurant! The menu is super simple, there are 6 options to choose from. I went with a big group and each of us got a different thing so we got to try all of them! Everything was delicious! The portions were pretty large as well. Free water on the tables as well which was a huge plus!

Meh.
I enjoy cooking. But even more than that, I enjoy eating food that I don’t have the time, skill, or equipment to prepare at home.
This meal didn’t meet that requirement, I think.
I had a lamb ragu with papardelle which was pretty uninspired. It was cheap (for this city), but the restaurant really used pretty low quality cut that had a ton of fat and gristle.
I also had a side salad for € 3, which was nothing more than a few slices of radishes on top of a handful of arugula — to add insult to injury, our table didn’t even order this salad. Of course, we were charged for it.
Also, if you come during a popular time, expect to wait. They had maybe 4 waiters working a huge restaurant and dining patio.
Not sure I’d come again, there’s too many other interesting places to eat around here (Bar Brouw? Foodhallen?)

This is the perfect dinner place. And this is coming to you from someone who is highly skeptical of paying for a restaurant plate of pasta… Both at this location and the one in de Pijp, it feels like the dining experience has been thoroughly thought through and perfected — the lighting is just bright enough, the wait is just long enough, the wine just chilled enough. And the food — just pure delicious great cooking. Highly, highly recommended.

Spaghetteria is the celebration of simplicity and taste.
The plain room is furnished with wooden tables and chairs. Warm light and pleasant background music create a cozy atmosphere.
The seasonally changing menu offers a small choice of freshly cooked authentic italian pasta dishes. Tap water is for free, there are jars and glasses on the table ready for self-​service.
At the big community tables the guests gather, have a chat and enjoy their dinner together like a grande famiglia. No wonder Spaghetteria Van Wou is always full, every day of the week.
High time to open a second location in west. And good for us it’s about 3 times the size of the one at Van Wou. So bring your family AND friends when you come here!
