Smullers

This is like FEBO but slightly cheaper. The croquettes are not as good but they do better fries and they do them with peanut sauce so you mig be able to get the war sauce here. Good station snack!

Smuller’s is an excellent pit-​stop kind of place that sells on-​the-​go meals. I recommend Smuller’s to any traveler coming to Amsterdam. It’s easy to eat on the trolleys and is simultaneously capable of distracting your stomach as your journey of spiritual individuality begins.
I ordered a chicken stick to-​go and my girlfriend had their signature fries, covered in mayonnaise. To remember our trip to Smuller’s, we kept a napkin for our scrapbook back home in the states.
If you are ever in Amsterdam, I suggest good walking shoes, a reservation with the Flying Pig, and Smuller’s grub. You can’t beat their deals as a traveler!

Ah, Smullers at the station. A staple of Dutch train riding. Usually I go to this place when it is late and nothing else is open. I’m pretty sure that this is always the last place to close at Centraal Station. The best part is, even if your train is almost ready to leave (if you have exact change), you can just run in grab what you want and then hop on the train. No waiting necessary.
