This is such a beautiful store for both men’s and woman’s wear. The dark interior of the shop makes you think of Abercrombie & Fitch but Scotch & Soda’s fashion is nothing like theirs. It is beautiful! They have so much awesome stuff! From jeans to cardigans to tees and dresses. I’m a fan! This is their biggest location, there is also another shop in the Huidenstraat.
Their stuff is not cheap for a student but is affordable if you have a normal job or if you save up a bit. And their sales are the best! There are always still a lot nice items left in the sale and the prices really drop. So nice. I always come here when there is sale.

I must say, when I first got to Amsterdam, I was quite impressed on how everyone dressed. Even in inclement weather, most people were very well put together.
While we have a few of Scotch & Soda’s collection available in Vancouver, the selection is nothing compared to what’s here in their home country and city.
I would classify their clothing as casual, slightly eclectic and maybe a bit preppy.
The main floor is the men’s collection and the women’s is upstairs, but on both floors, helpful staff are there to bring out sizes and get you a fitting room started.
Very nice fall clothing, stuff that I could wear in Vancouver. Picked out a wool toggle jacket and a hoodie for myself.
