Not«good» by my standards, and I had hunches it would be this way before sitting for a meal. Ate here with my wife and her family on vacation because it was one of the few restaurants open. That, at least, was in San Tommaso’s favor, but not much else. To sum it up, the pizzas are small, pricey, and taste bland. For flavor, I added pepper and hot sauce to the pizza, and that alone speaks volumes, suggesting that I found the generic tobasco on the table more tasty than the tomato sauce. Beyond the underwhelming pizza, I found it odd how the owner stood outside and asked me when passing by if I was from Israel. Don’t know if Jewish patrons get a discount or something worse, but whatever the case, you might decide not to chance answering either way. Amsterdam is filled with exceptional restaurants, but San Tommaso’s is unfortunately not among them. Mediocre at best.
