An exceptional Italian restaurant with homemade pasta dishes that are easily 5 star. The dishes are all fabulous, and the Pasta Parmigiano is a show of a dish! You can watch the waitress(who seems to be a co-owner as well) mixes your pasta dish with a block of Parmesan Cheese. It is a sight to see! Romantic, quiet and classy. Absolutely MUST try!!!

We were looking for a restaurant that was close and could accommodate our vegetarian niece and her parents; Italian seemed like a good choice. We stumbled across THE gem of Amsterdam in Nunzio and Haidi’s Ristoranti Due Napoletani. Think of the usual Italian pastas, fish and veal dishes. Think of the best you have ever had and then step it up a notch. One of my favorite dishes is saltimbocca and this was the best I have eaten. We split two orders of Nuzio’s tiramisu, both orange and lemon(2 of 25 in his repertoire). And then finished the evening with one order each of Nunzio’s home made limoncello and orangecello. Not too sweet, just right. We came in looking for a good meal and left after an excellent meal served by new friends.

Came to the Ristorante Due Napoletani because of a Groupon. It was a three course meal and each was very nice. The owner even came by to talk about the wine selection and helped us pick out a great bottle which opened up nicely as the meal progressed. I would like to go back and try some items not on the Groupon menu to see how diverse they are.
