Beautiful small place in the beautiful Jordaan neighborhood. Very nice sandwiches, salads, smoothies, teas and cakes. Best chai tea I ever tasted. Super cute cat sleeping on the bench next to us. The owners speak many languages and were adorable. Highly recommended brunch/​lunch break!

Beautiful, light and airy establishment with freshly made sandwiches, salads and soups. Everything was a smaller size so you were able to select anywhere from 2 to 4 items for lunch. Everything we tried was delicious! I had the Italian sandwich, creamy vegetable soup (soup of that day), and a greek salad. Perfect size, perfect taste, perfect for lunch after walking several miles and wanting something healthy. Will be back many times!

Cute spot that serves combos of small sandwiches and soups with the option of gluten free bread. She also had a gluten free muffin that was delicious. Also serves coffee, chai lattes, beer, and wine. The owner was very gracious, the kitchen closes at 4:30 while you can still get drinks till 5:30. We showed up at around 4:30 and when she told us the kitchen is closed, we asked for any other gluten free recommendations and she reopened her kitchen just for us. Very grateful and it was delicious! FYI — there is also a cat that sleeps in the window. It stays with her during the day then goes to the tapas place next door for the night.

A homey and friendly café serving great food. Had the Italian salami and olive spread sandwich with quiche and mushroom soup, was fabulous! The portions was just perfect.

A visit to Piqniq is a walk in the park, easy like Sunday morning.
Modern yet cozy, very light and the photo wallpaper gives you the impression to be sitting in the field.
Mostly you’ll get one of the last spots on the blanket. On sunny days you can even be lucky to catch one outside under the grass green parasols.
The basket of food options is richely filled with freshly home made breakfasts or soups, salads and broodjes for lunch. Additional to that there’s the blackboard with around 4 daily dishes (soup, quicke, salad etc.).
When it’s full it can sometimes take a while until you get your order. Don’t worry, at Piqniq that’s a sign of quality — the owners and their team prepare your food with love and care. And seeing what the other guests get while you’re waiting will fill you with sweet anticipation.

Happened upon this place and was very happy with the menu and quality of the food. The lunch menu is great, basically mini sandwiches and soups. You select 2 or 3, and the price also includes any non-​alcoholic beverage on the menu. We both ordered 3 choices, my husband a quiche, soup, and sandwich, and myself, a panini, sandwich and soup. All very fresh and flavourful and creative. The latte was excellent too. I think we may end up back here before our trip is done! For under € 10 per person this is a great deal for a great meal!

Do you need more variety in your life? Then this may be the perfect breakfast for you: a little cheese sandwich, a soft roll, croissant, jam, fruit salad, a mini sweet roll, fruit salad, and good coffee.
It sounds like a lot, but everything comes in a reasonable portion, so you leave full but not stuffed. And everything was of high quality, fresh and beautifully presented.
Piqniq has a bright, modern interior and a sweet and attentive staff. A few places to sit outside and lots of varied reading material inside.
If you’re not ready to face the day after breakfast here, you should probably go back to bed.

Bumped into this place by accident, when I was on my way to another usual breakfast place… and I am very happy I found it.
A lovely cosy quiet place, ideal for a breakfast /​tea. I had their breakfast platter with fruit salad, 2 sweets (pain au chocolat and another patisserie) and a little cheese sandwich. That was perfect to start the day.
Its a very nice place to bring your laptop and work as well
The staff was very nice and discreet .
Will definitely go back there another morning!
