Un joli restaurant, moderne, sur deux étages façon mezzanine.
Menu italien classique, des pâtes à toutes les sauces, des plats du jours, soupes,…
Pour les panini c’est seulement le midi.
Les prix sont corrects et avoisines les 15 euros en moyenne.
Les plats que nous avons essayé étaient bons et en grande quantité donc un restaurant pour les gourmands.
Une bonne option pour manger italien à Amsterdam.

Das Caffe Panini ist ein kleines Bistro, was selbst gebackene italienische Brote mit diversen Belägen anbietet. Alles frisch und sehr lecker. Einen Punkt Abzug, da wir zwei doppelte Espresso bekommen haben, die aber nicht bestellt wurden. So dachten wir zunächst, dass diese automatisch zum Essen gereicht werden. Zum Schluss standen sie aber separat auf der Rechnung.
Fazit: Gerne wieder, aber Espresso gleich ablehnen, falls dieser gebracht aber nicht bestellt wurde.

Das Panini ist nur zu empfehlen. Allerdings sollte man unbedingt einen Tisch reservieren da man nie weiß wieviel los ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und spricht ein gut verständliches Englisch. Die Speisen sind sehr gut und äußerst frisch.

Excellent Italian food at a reasonable price. Not a large menu, but what they have is excellent. I have been there twice and enjoyed both experiences at dinner.

I was here for breakfast when the options are pretty limited to cold sandwiches or a croissant. Hot paninis are not available until after noon. They will cut a croissant in half and melt cheese on it for you, so there is that respite if you really want something warm in the morning.
The cappuccinos had a very creamy thick head, the biggest I’ve ever seen. So they know what they’re doing there. And they let you hang out for hours if you want, so it’s a great place to meet and chat with friends. It’s a pretty basic café, but it gets the job done.

Great panini with fresh ingredients. I ordered panini with parma, mozzarella and basil which all i could feel the fresh also flavors. Good for the late afternoon lunch and I might have to go back for the dinner. Waiters also friendly with my poor english and they were all beauty.

Excellent! I’m here on vacation staying close to this restaurant, I walked by many times. it was always busy so I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised, what a treat! food was excellent! starting with the salad and I had the beef stew with pasta. Both were excellent… I’m looking forward to going back again. Thanks!

Don’t be fooled by the name or small façade, Panini is a great Italian spot. When in Amsterdam a few weeks ago we walked past this place several times on our trip and finally stopped in for our final dinner in Amsterdam. Wow.
The food is fresh, well-​prepared, and delicious. The staff is friendly, helpful and willing to offer their opinions. There are vegetarian options (yay!). Nancy had a small arugala salad and tomato soup. Kris had a mixed greens salad and penne with spicy sausage. No complaints, here.
Eat outside if it’s a nice night. You’re bound to meet exceptional people because of the way the seating works in Europe. Also, Vijzelgracht is a great spot for people watching!
