The hotel was very far out of the city center.
A taxi ride to dam square was approx 25 euros; To the airport it was 35 euros. Bikes are available to rent for 16 euro daily and I would highly suggest doing this. Otherwise, it’s a short walk to the tram and in 40 minutes you’ll be in Dam square.
We had a modern well designed executive room that was spacious. However, it was a horrible room as water poured from the bathroom ceiling 2 of the 7 nights we were there, this left us without hot water for morning showers. There wasn’t any rooms above us, there was a problem with the pipes. After complaining to the hotel, they said someone would check it out. They didn’t change our room or provide other options.
The breakfast offered was decent seeing there is nothing around unless you take a 5 minute walk. Some of the items offered included fruit, yogurt, cereal, boiled eggs, bacon, a variety of breads and jams.

Großes Hotel, saubere Zimmer, leckeres Essen Frühstück und nettes Personal. Allerdings relativ weit ausserhalb im Süden von Amsterdam. Ca. 10 — 15 Minuten bis zur Tram, von dort nochmal 25 Minuten in die Innenstadt.

Positiv überrascht bin ich von diesem Hotel. Wenn ich da an NH Hotels ins Deutschland denke. Hat diese hier seine Sterne verdient. Personal ist freundlich, die Zimmer grosszügig. Man hört zwar die Flieger aber dass ist überhaupt nicht störend. Ein Stern Abzug da das Hotel recht weit von der City entfernt ist. Man läuft in 10min zur Tram und kann dann mit der Linie 5 bis in die City rein fahren für 2,80 €. Ca. 20−30min.
