Really good well done food. Would be 5 stars if it improved the service which is very friendly but a bit sloppy and careless. The place is an almost underground cellar. Very cool«Schiphol Airport» retired stuff like signs and lights. It is spacious with a terrace on the back. Central but just good to be out of the very touristic path. My veal dish with butter cook potatoes and shiitake mushrooms was just perfect. Crunchy on the outside and melty tender on the inside. They do have definitely a chef working on your food. Dessert looked basic, but pastry for the chocolate and daces cake was delicious, not to mention the rest. Very rich. They offer some weird local brewed beers which fits perfectly the hypster look and feel. I definitely like this place. If you book in advance the can arrange you big tables. The normal ones are for 2 seats. Good job. I am not Dutch, but I think they played with the name and the arty place upstairs called Apple… Applemous

Well, it is not closed, but it makes business as it is really closed. I was there to-day, on November 1st, and there were tables on sidewalk — so-called garden — and I sat at one of two tables. After long walk I needed a rest, and I could do cappuccino, fresh orange juice, and after I studied a menu, I was going to order three fried eggs for brunch. It was namely around 14.00. I had time to study the menu, all right, I was sitting there and wached leaves falling slowly and even cheerfully(I thought), beautiful day for November, and I gave them in the restaurant 25 minutes. No one came out. Impossible that they did not see me. I got uap on my feet and continued to Pollux café.
